Residential Services

Who We Serve

The target population for Mountain Lakes Behavioral Healthcare’s Residential Program includes individuals from Jackson and Marshall Counties who are 18 years of age or older and who meet the admission criteria. Referrals from State Psychiatric Hospitals, Crisis Residential Centers, and Community Mental Health Centers outside of Jackson or Marshall Counties are also welcome.

What We Provide

The Mountain Lakes Behavioral Healthcare Residential Program is designed to provide a safe and highly structured environment to promote an improved level of functioning for all consumers admitted to the program. Activities are designed to promote a healthy therapeutic environment twenty-four hours per day.

In addition to regular Outpatient services, the following are some of the other services provided to our residential consumers:

  • Training to improve social and communication skills
  • Assistance in medication management and administration
  • Training to develop and improve basic living skills/activities of daily living
  • Assistance in applying for benefits
  • Vocational services
  • Community orientation and outings
  • Recreational and leisure life skills training
  • Transportation to and from necessary community services and supports
  • Education relating to psychiatric illness
